Disneyland is the happiest place on earth. Kids of all ages have the best time enjoying amazing rides and shows. However enjoying the holiday spirit at Disneyland is just such a great cultural experience. We love visiting the park during this time of the year for several reasons: Viva Navidad! Street party at California Adventure California Adventure has a Latino culture celebration filled with dancing and great music. The activities include live Latino music (mariachis was my favorite), holiday foods and crafts. The Disney !Viva Navidad! Steet Party show is very entertaining and has the Three Caballeros Donald Duck, Panchito from Mexico and José Carioca from Brazil dancing and signing to Latino traditional music. This is a must see. Holiday decorations all around the park The huge Christmas trees, and all the holiday decorations around the park, make you feel merrier. No wonder their slogan is Just Got Merrier. You really feel in the Christmas spirit with the decorations and music all around the parks. And at night there is snow at main street and the Sleeping Beauty Castle transforms into Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle. Rides changed for the holidays Some of the rides change a little bit for the holidays. The Jungle Cruise changes into Jungle Cruise, It's Small World becomes It is a Small World Holiday and The Haunted Mansion is the dressed up for the holidays. Christmas spirit even at night Decorations, music, food, you name it. It is the merrier time of the year and you can feel it in the air. The fireworks, the Christmas parade and so much more to enjoy Get your family ready and head over Disneyland to enjoy all the great things during their holiday time that runs from November 13th, 2014 through January 6, 2015. I love Disney and I love Disney movies. There is something magic about everything Disney does. However, although I like Disney movies, it has been a while since I fell in love with a Disney movie, actually it has been since The Lion King that I did not had so many emotions with a Disney movie.
So what is it about Big Hero 6 that made me feel that way? Well, pretty much everything… Let’s start about how impressive is the computer animated film. The image is clear and the effects are extraordinary. Then let’s talk about the plot. It is a great story. There is something very emotional about someone dying and how the characters react to that death. The message about the meaning of friendship and teamwork makes it a movie that both kids and adults will love. And off course let’s talk about how easy it is going to be to fall in love with Baymax. I already want a big fluffy robot for myself. Disney you have done it again. I cannot wait to see all the cute merchandise you will have available at stores and I am rooting for part 2 of the movie soon. Big Hero Six opens November 7th on a screen near you, head over and watch it because you are going to love it! Watch a trailerDid we like it? As always Sofia the first DVDs are always cute. I think my boy enjoyed although he pretended not to be that much into the movie. My little neighbor loved it and asked us to borrow it to take to preschool. Recommended. Available on September 9, 2014About the DVDNew on DVD! It will ease those doctor office visits for your kids. It might inspire some kids to become doctors too. For us it was more about not being afraid to going to the doctor office.
