Disclosure: This is a sponsored post for Whole Foods Market, however all opinions expressed are my own Whole Foods Markets keep surprising me. Just a few weeks ago they had a sale on supplements and now they are having a sale on facial care products. It is hard not to take advantage of having 25% off ALL facial care products because with this weather we all want to have healthy and hydrated skin. (This sale is for stores located in Southern California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii only) What can you stock up while taking advantage of the 25% off February 7-9?
(Note that Lip balms and Makeup are excluded from the sale) Time to visit my local Whole Foods (650 Town Center Drive, Oxnard) and gather more information on the Twitter and Facebook pages It is time to get some quality products to take care of your skin while saving some money! What are you going to be getting?
Disclosure: I was invited to a special screening of the movie, however all opinions expressed are my own. There has been some times that a movie has an stellar cast and the movie is not good. But I had a feeling that a movie with Kate Winslet, Josh Brolin and James Van Der Beek was going to be good. I was not wrong, Labor Day is a very intense, well acted movie that will keep you glue to your seat with anxiety to see what happens next. In the movie Kate Winslet’s plays Adele a very depressed woman with a son, Henry (played by actor Gattlin Griffith) that takes care of her even though he is still a child. They end up being “stuck” with Frank (Played by Josh Brolin) an escaped convict. The story develops from there and there is a little bit of everything: love, loss, depression and even some wonderful pie baking. After the movie, we had a Q&A session with James Van Der Beek (remember him from Dawson’s Creek?). The Moms’ Denise Albert and Melissa Musen hosted another awesome Mamarazzi event. We ended up the night, enjoying some coffee and desert (very tasty pies)... by the way I really did not eat the whole thing... I really enjoyed the movie. A love story just in time for Valentine's day, but named Labor Day. Head out to theaters and do not forget your klennex

You can follow all the fun on twitter and instagram using #KnottsPink Good Luck!! Disclosure: I received a free copy of the DVD to facilitate this review and attended the media release party. All opinions expressed are my own. We have been waiting for this movie to come out on DVD for such a long time. We missed it a the theaters and we have heard really cool things about it. And the rumors were true. The movie is fun and entertaining. We are now big fans of Foodimals and I can see my son asking for creative shapes and forms when I serve food. But I guess that is a great way to motivate kids to eat their veggies and fruits. So what else can I tell you about the movie? I laughed and laughed and I think it was silly but clever at the same time. My son liked it a lot. So it is a great addition to the DVD collection and a sure hit when we are on the road and I need to keep him busy. We also attended an event at Sony Studios for the release of the DVD. We met the Director and watched some cut scenes form the movie that you can see on the DVD. The kids also got to design their own Foodimals and learn to draw them. We also got to play with the new Foodimal Funimal App on the iphone and ipad. And I can see this app as another saver when we travel because my son was really into the games, specially the one where you create your shakes. After all the fun activities we got some yummy food. After a day full of fun activities we got home and can you guess what my son wanted to do? Oh, yes he wanted to watch the movie again!
