Disclosure: This is a sponsored post for Whole Foods Market, however all opinions expressed are my own. I have always loved Whole Foods store, and it was not until recently that I have one store near me, so it is really good to learn that they will be having their annual 3 (three) Day Whole Body Sale which includes 25 % off ALL supplements from January 24 to January 26 in stores located at Southern California, Arizona, Las Vegas and Hawaii. I guess it is time for me to buy some things I need to help with my goals for 2014. I think I will be buying some
I am also going to read a little bit about natural supplements that I might not know about what might be good to have and that I can get with a saving of 25% (in stores located at Southern California, Arizona, Las Vegas and Hawaii) What other things do you think I should buy? What are you going to be buying?

Disclosure: i was invited to the premier of the movie, however all opinions expressed are my own What a better way to end winter vacation that to go see a movie. And for my son, that was to attend the Premier of The Nut Job in 3D. It was a great way to spend the last Saturday before school starts again. Movie, popcorn and the change to meet the actors that play the voices of the characters, all was just great. The movie The Nut Job is coming up on theaters next Friday, January 17, 2014 THE NUT JOB is an action-packed comedy that follows Surly (voiced by Will Arnett), a mischievous squirrel, who must plan a heist to get into his town’s biggest nut shop in order to help his pals in the park gather food to survive the winter. Together with his sidekick, Buddy, he will assemble a ragtag crew to help him get inside – and take them on a fun-filled adventure that they’ll never forget. After the red carpet we enjoyed the movie. It is a very cute and entertaining movie. Although there is action the movie is not really violent and it has great leaning messages. My son gave it 5 stars and he also said the recommends it for kids and adults. I agree. After the movie we were able to attend an event with @themoms (Denise & Melissa) for a Q & A with Will Arnett and Katherine Heigl. Both actors seem really down to earth and they answered questions from both, parents and kids, they shared things about their families and also about the movie. And there was also photo opportunities. Overall between the great movie, the yummy food and the opportunity to meet the actors it was according to my boy the best way to finish vacation time. Get your kids ready to enjoy a very fun movie!

We are in the process of changing our carpet for hardwood floors. It has been a blessing in disguise. We had a leak and we were forced to remodel the house. And although we have been living in a big mess until we have the time to actually finish the work (and we are not done yet) I am happy that we now will not have carpet anymore. I always liked hardwood floors. They are easy to clean, but I really do not like mops. So I started looking around for other alternatives and I found the Swiffer Bissell SteamBoost Steam Mop. I always wanted a steam mop, but I did not feel like paying a lot of money for one. So at $49.99 the Swiffer Bissell SteamBoost Steam Mop is reasonable and the best part, it does the job. Without a lot of effort I can clean the floor and it dries almost right away. No buckets, no dirty water, no spills and a clean floor. I really like it. And no other chemical solutions needed. Just water and steam. Perfect! I cannot wait for the rest of the house to be hardwood floors so I can get rid of the heavy vacuum and be able to clean the house in just a couple of hours and not a whole day. The new light-weight household necessity retails for $49.99, but now through the end of December Swiffer is offering a $15.00 mail-in rebate, making the gift even more affordable! For more information on the rebate please visit Swiffer.com/rebate. Giveaway One lucky My Life is a Journey reader will win a Swiffer Bissell SteamBoost Steam Mop and a container of 20 steam mopping cloths to have their house clean in 2014. Disclosure: I received free product to facilitate this review however all opinion expressed are my own My son has seen this product on TV and he really wanted to try it out. So when we were offered the chance to review it I knew my ice cream lover boy was going to be really happy.
The Ice Cream Magic ice cream maker container is really cute. I looks like an ice cream cone. I have seen a lot of reviews saying that the product does not work, so I was afraid my son was going to be disappointed. He was not disappointed, he was able to make ice cream, but just a little bit. He still loved it and just to help the kids play on the kitchen and make their own snack is a good product. Now, if you are expecting this to be the tool to make ice cream to feed your family, do not buy it. But if you just want a little for your kids then it would do the job. I did changed the recipe a little bit. We used heavy cream instead of water to make sure my son was going to make ice cream. What I like is the container, because even if he does not want to shake it to make 4 tablespoons of ice cream, I can serve store bought ice cream on the cute cone. It is not expensive, and provides some fun for the kids. Available in Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry swirl caps, Ice Cream Magic is $9.99 each and at fine retailers everywhere. For ages 4 and up. at bedtime or even just plain fun entertainment during the day. With different colors and animals to choose from (Dragon, Penguin, Puppy, and Unicorn), you can have a great gift for either a boy or a girl. Ideal for camping trips or just to comfort the kids that are afraid of the dark. They have a 10-minute auto shut-off, so if the little one falls asleep the light will not wake them up.
